Draksharishta is an Ayurvedic formulation which is prescribed mainly for respiratory disorders as well as digestion and stomach related disorders. Any Ayurvedic formulation which consists of the word “rishta” at the end, has alcohol has its base. It contains 5-10% self-generated alcohol which helps deliver water and alcohol soluble herbs to different parts of the body.

Dosage

10ml to 20ml with the same quantity of water to be consumed in the morning on empty stomach. Same can be done in the evening. For children, the dosage should be 5-10ml only.

Side Effects and Caution

Draksharishta should be taken in appropriate dosage only. If a high dose is consumed, it can cause mild gastric irritation.

Diabetic Patients, Pregnant or Lactating women should avoid the use of this medicine.
